The new season of Gossip Girl starts on September 1, but if you can't hold out for two more weeks, there's a little relief in sight: This Sunday, Henri Bendel will reveal their latest Manhattan windows, designed by GG costume designer Eric Daman. The clothes in the windows are inspired by Blair, Serena, and Jenny, ensuring that even if you can't join the girls and their evil (but oh so fun) plots at prep school, you can still do a take on their wardrobe. You can also just run to CVS and buy a few headbands and some lip gloss, which suits the show's signature pearls-and-Converse look just fine... It's expected that the mannequins will be wearing designs from Anna Sui, Gryphon, and Peter Som. It seems that even as plastic dolls, the characters are trendsetters.

There will be a Fashion Show on the third new episode of Gossip Girl, and it will be awesome. How do we know? Because Abigail Lorick, the real-life designer behind Eleanor Waldorf's fashion line, is having her first full-length runway show this Fashion Week. Seven days later, on September 15, the catwalk repeats itself on Gossip Girl - the same clothes, but this time as part of the television show. Expect to see Blair and Serena out in full force, as well as little Jenny Humphrey - remember, she scored an internship at Eleanor Waldorf's fashion company in last year's season finale. But does that mean Taylor Momsen will model in the actual Lorick show during New York Fashion Week?
goSSIpGirlieGirl Gossip Girl Dresses From TCA '08! Aug 11, 2008 8:42 AM Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester, Blake Lively, and Jessica Szohr all looked amazing (as usual) at the 2008 Teen Choice Awards! Leighton Meester stayed away from the mini skirts and mini dresses like most of her contemporaries, and opted for a very grown up look, wearing a beautiful green Lanvin Spring 2008 Grecian draped cocktail dress. She accesorized with black peep-toes, gold earrings and a gold bracelet. Her hair appears to be lighter than usual also. Blake Lively wore this mini purple one-shouldered Tadashi Shoji dress, her legs appear endless. The dress is cute and appropriate for the event, but the shoes are sooo boring. A gladiator heel, or a strappy sandal would have made a whole world of difference! She accessorizes with a large patent belt, and a chunky ring! Gossip Girl's Jessica Szohr was on the red carpet for the Teen Choice Awards wearing a coral Alice + Olivia Layered tiered dress. She accentuated her waist in the tiered dress, with a black leather waist belt and opted for a contrasting pair of fuschia platformed heels. This coral silk chiffon tiered dress has a self-tie halter neck and a low sexy back to give it the wow factor. This dress is playful, feminine and flaunts all your sexy attributes. Let this be your Summer of Love, as you fall head over heels for this must have dress.
